About us
Our Story
Global warming is the increase in the average temperature of the Earth and has been on the rise since 1950. It has been demonstrated repeatedly that a transportation infrastructure based around individuals in automobiles contributes to global warming, pollution, health problems and energy insecurity.
We are all familiar with sitting in a motionless car on a jam-packed road as vehicles spew emissions and pollution into the air. Even in cases where it’s difficult or impossible to remove the car from the picture entirely, there are ways to green our transportation infrastructure and simultaneously improve our health and quality of life.
Making the old new
Giving people the opportunity and encouragement to ride a bicycle sometimes takes a little creativity especially in urban areas. However, with the current Digital Age, putting a bike share system on mobile phones helps motivate people into bicycle riding. Logically, the bicycles are in a mobile app (Digital Bikes).
Riding bicycles provides the opportunity for people to get around their communities using their own power. And for every mile riden, there is a significant benefit in CO2 reduction and simultaneous improvement on our health and quality of life.
Services
We provide comfortable, robust and easy-to-use bikes that have been designed and built for hiring through our Digital Bikes app. All aspects of the cycle experience have been considered to ensure the best customer experience, with excellent customer feedback.
From easily adjustable saddle heights, to hidden chains that avoid oil on clothes, to a secure bag facility and a three gear system (allowing usage in all terrains), the bikes are attractive and fit for purpose.
Mission
We are dedicated to provide cycling as the fastest, safe, fun, sustainable and cheap transport option in our communities.
